Please contact rpye@cop.es. for any doubts or problems with regard to the submission procedure.
The title must appear at the top of the manuscript, followed by an abstract of at most 200 words and a maximum of five keywords. Title, abstract and keywords must be submitted in Spanish and in English. The abstract should be written as a single paragraph. It should show the following structure: background, method, results, conclusions.
The tables and figures must be numbered according to their order of appearance and mentioned in the text where the authors consider most appropriate. The tables may be added at the end of the document and their format must allow the production team to make any changes to the layout that may be necessary.
The manuscripts, created in Word format, should not exceed 10,000 words (including title, summary, references, figures, tables and annexes). They must be written in a 12-point font with a 1.5-point space between lines, 3-cm margins and page numbers at the bottom right corner.

Articles in Spanish or English are accepted. They must be written by a researcher who masters the language or be reviewed by a professional translator, preferably a native speaker with knowledge of Psychology and Education.
The drafting of the manuscript must adhere to the regulations of the American Psychological Association (APA, 7th Edition) for publication. Some of these regulations (consult the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association) are as follows:
Articles must be written in the impersonal style.
Decimals should be indicated by commas in Spanish texts, and by points in the English texts. Do not write zero before the point or the comma when the maximum value is 1 (for example, instead of r = -0.64, write r = -.64).
Footnotes are not allowed.
When quoting, use only the first surname of each author unless it is a compound name. If a publication has two authors, always mention both of them. From three authors onwards, we will use the word “et al” after the first author's name (when it does not create ambiguity). When several publications are mentioned at the same time, they should be ordered alphabetically, not chronologically.
References should appear in the “References” section in alphabetical order. Some examples:

Quay, H. C., & Hogan, A. (1999). Handbook of disruptive behavior disorders. Plenum.
• Book chapters:

Manuscripts that do not adhere to the APA regulations or any other regulations mentioned herein, will be rejected by the Editorial Committee and the authors will be requested to abide by these regulations so the task of evaluating their work can begin. In the event that this second version continues to breach the regulations of the journal, the article will be definitely rejected. If the work satisfies the above requirements, it will be assigned to an editor, who will contact two scientific reviewers, either members of the Advisory Committee or experts in the subject who are not associated with the journal. The Editor will study the reports sent by both reviewers before sending the editorial decision (accept the article, make small changes, make large changes or reject the article). If there is disagreement between the reviewers, the Editor may request another report from a third assessor. When the authors submit a second version of the article, they must include a list of the changes in a document that clearly states which of the suggested changes have been made and which have not, and the reason for therefore. The maximum period from receipt of the manuscript to the final decision is 6 months.
The works submitted to the Journal of Psychology and Education / Revista de Psicología y Educación must be unpublished and must not be in the process of review or have been sent simultaneously to other publications. The authors must confirm this fact during the process of manuscript submission through the platform (in the box that appears on the screen for manuscript submission).
The submitted file cannot contain any personal data of the authors. The Journal of Psychology and Education / Revista de Psicología y Educación will pay special attention to the detection of plagiarism, or redundant or duplicate publication. Changes in the authorship are not allowed after acceptance.
In the “Method” section of the manuscript (subsection “Procedure”), the permissions or consents obtained to collect the data must be explicitly indicated, especially in the case of samples made up of minors. Also a reference to the Ethics Committee name and code should be provide (when applicable).

In this line, a text including the possible sources of financing and/or acknowledgments (if any), as well as the existence of any conflict of interest, should be present at the end of the manuscript, before the references section.
